Zyotel is an activity-first social product. We collect only what we need to run accounts, show nearby plans, and keep meetups safe. We do not sell your data.
What we collect
- Account: name, email, optional phone, password hash or Google/Apple sign-in IDs, profile photo, bio, interests.
- Location: approximate GPS or neighbourhood, only after you share it, so we can show plans and people near you.
- Activity: plans you create or join, chats inside those plans, connections, reports, and device sign-in cookies.
- Diagnostics: basic app/website errors so we can keep the product working.
How we use it
To create your account, show nearby plans, match activity buddies, send plan reminders you asked for, and enforce community guidelines. Location is not used for ads. Messages stay inside the plan or conversation they belong to.
Sharing
Other members can see your public profile and plans you join. We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, optional maps geocoding) only to operate Zyotel. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, or at zyotel.com/account-deletion. That removes your profile, sessions, and hosted plans. We may keep limited records needed for safety or legal reasons.
Children
Zyotel is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
